Everybody knows Mallorca as the paradise island to come on holidays and enjoy its beaches. But Mallorca is more than that. You can enjoy many activities and discover the island beyond its beaches and idyllic landscapes. One of the most popular activities is gallery hopping in Palma.

A beautiful City to discover

Palma’s historic quarter is the largest and one of the most fascinating in the Mediterranean. Considered by most historians to be the best examples of the “casco antiguo mediterráneo”, it skirts the bay with a kaleidoscopic vision of Roman arches, lush interior patios dating back to the Arab reign of Al Mayurka, and haunting examples of gothic architecture brought by the Christian invasion.

A walk around this Mediterranean hub of cultures, is one of the best ways of discovering the island’s thunderous past and its colorful contemporary life. Alongside the timeless synagogues-turned-mosques, then churches, are dozens of artist studios, ateliers, and art galleries.

Many well known international artists have chosen the Mallorca to establish their private studios. Therefore, gallery hopping in Palma has become one of the most trendy activities for residents and visitors alike.

Whether you are into contemporary art, unique architecture, or discovering those fashionable spots undiscovered by the tourist guides. Gallery hopping in Palma may be perfect for you.
